Can dogs smile? Panting with their tongues out doesn't count. We're talking about an actual smile – lips open, teeth exposed – just like a human would do. Is it possible for dogs to do that? We've never thought this was possible until today!

Anytime you've had your picture taken, whether solo or with a group, it's almost a given that the photographer will say “smile” for the camera. Maybe the occasional “cheese” or “party!”, but the point is to make everyone bear their pearly whites for the camera. Because smiling people in photos is a lot more appealing than a bunch of frowns. But circling back to dogs here, what do you normally tell them when posing for a photo? Well, they're dogs. So we normally snap our fingers or clap our hands to make them look alert. This is normally as good as it gets unless we're lucky enough to get an awesome action shot. Like a dog mid-air catching a Frisbee. Or maybe you can catch them on film completing a cool trick you taught them, like a high five or even skateboarding! All completely awesome photo ops.

But what if your dog could smile on command? What if your pup could grin ear to ear and give you a heartfelt smile? Well, before today we didn't think that was possible. But then we met Kaiser who quite literally blew our minds away with his hysterical smile.
