Our dogs bark. It’s just a natural thing a pup does and, at a moment’s notice, he or she will let us know when the postman has invaded our mailbox, a neighbor’s cat has crossed the porch and even the moment little Timmy has come home from school. It’s simply what a dog does.
Now, the urgency of the barking will depend on the demeanor of the dog. Any stranger at the front door usually makes our best friend crazed. Although it might be inconvenient if it’s someone like the plumber or electrician arriving for an appointment — it is still understandable. Less so if it’s a friend that has visited ten times before and Rover still does not understand that this person is okay.
Never the less, after a while we get used to our dog’s moods and bark and we can pretty well predict if a matter is serious or not.
That is… unless it’s the dog on the next page! LOL, you will not be expecting this type of bark!
