This video of the rescue has become an internet sensation! Watch as Storm not only drags the fawn to shore but also seems to try and revive the poor traumatized deer and it lays still at its feet!

Don’t you just love a story with a happy ending!? Not only is the fawn being well taken care of and will be released back into the wild when the time comes but Storm not only gets all the praise he deserves — but some yummy looking cookies too!

We would like to see human beings just as courageous as this pooch and while we do have some heroes in this age of apathy it is sincerely lovely to see that at least a dog, a canine with a sense of compassion, can show us how it is done!
