It’s the same for dogs as it is for human beings.

When a father-figure has been away for a while, he can only hope the child or children will recognize the missing when he or she has returned home! Often the results are pleasing, but sometimes it does take a little time for the child or, in this case, a Pug pup not just to recognize their Dad but also get reacquainted!
