Years ago we saw a terrible, sobering and very funny Farside © comic strip. It was a Viking invasion; women being carried off, men killed, children running for their lives, and loot being taken back to their Viking ship. And on that ship is a doggy, innocently watching and as happy as can be, tail wagging, excited and waiting for his master to return!

The point being, you can be a less than a nice person, or perhaps even a downright mean and surly brute, but if you treat your pooch well, he will remain devoted and love you forever! Dogs, although often bright and open to adventure, can only see the world through the eyes we give them. It’s been said before: Our dog maybe a part of our lives but we are our dog’s whole life!

Over on the next page, we have a little charmer, a Pug that absolutely loves his human Daddy! All this Pug wants to do is kiss him. What is amusing is Dad is a big, burly guy – probably with a heart of gold – but he looks like he could easily show someone the floor if the need arises.

However, with his baby’s kisses he can only be a loving Daddy. Go take a look!
