Actually, the title of this article is a little inaccurate. We love dogs, large or small, but there are definitely some virtues that come with small dog ownership.
For those of us who adore them, small dogs are the antithesis of lumbering and uncontrollable big pooches who, while they can be wonderful guard dogs and look majestic while standing tall and proper, can sincerely be a handful and – if not properly trained – they can be very dangerous!
The worst you get with a small pup is a nibble on your ankles and, if you are wearing socks or boots, that is never an issue!
Yet, we have to ask ourselves, what exactly are the benefits of adopting a small dog? Go on over to page two and check out a nice list of textbook reasons.
