They don’t mean to do you wrong but it’s far more the lack of good communication than a pooch just wanting to be free and do all the wrong things. Check out the following behaviors and see if maybe you just might be at fault!
Four bows are better than two.
If you have a dog that jumps on guests, you shouldn’t allow them to even if your guest insists that it’s fine. Your dog won’t recognize your friend who is twenty years old or your grandpa who is eighty years old. You should warn your guests before they come that you have a jumper dog. And ask your guests to turn away and leave your dog and completely ignore them till they are sitting quietly.Potty training.
Of course, we all think that we should reward our dogs when they go potty outside, and yell at them or spank them when they don’t go potty outside, and this is the write method of potty training. But this is very wrong you shouldn’t yell at them or spank them when they do that little accident at home, that will only teach them to be afraid of you and to be more careful next time and do these accidents out of sights.Kennel sweet kennel.
When you use their kennel as a punishment they will be less than eager to spend in there. The kennel should be a comfortable place where they eat their dinner or have a peanut butter – stuffed Kong, so they will want to visit it.The kitchen mess.
If your dog sees food on the counter in the kitchen, he will come back to look for more. You should prevent him from going in there and reward him when he stays away from the kitchen when you are home, and when you are out, keep the kitchen closed off. And make sure to store your food in a place that is out of your dog’s reach.
Bet there are a few things above that you can relate to. Honestly, even we are guilty of “Puppy-Face at Dinner” which is another bad behavior on our part and you can read up on it and other examples over on Ur Dogs.
How can we expect our dogs to be taught well when we backslide on training and common sense? Remember, the more enlightened a pet owner the better off for the pet!

Training never ends….Mitzi learns something new every day but alas, never forgets where the shoes are located.
