If you've ever gone on a long trip and left your pup in the care of friends or family members, then you know how much you miss your fur baby while you're away.

You may catch yourself looking at pictures of your doggy on your phone during your trip or calling your friend back home to ask how your pup is. It's hard being away from your furry best friend!

Can you imagine how it would feel if you had no choice but to be away from your doggy for five years and not just a temporary trip?! When a Canadian woman's Pug was stolen from her at a Safeway after she tied him up outside to run inside to the ATM, she was devastated.

Thankfully she never gave up hope. She posted signs everywhere and continued to try and figure out who took her beloved pup and tried to track him down.
