This New Dr. Seuss Book Has A ‘Pro Adoption’ Message From The Publishing House And We Love It!

When families buy a pet at a pet store, most don't think about the repercussions. Whereas a pet store is convenient and easy to get a pet, there are many homeless pets (as many as 6 million this year alone), that are waiting for homes at your local animal shelter.

The numbers alone of homeless doggies are staggering, which should encourage you to adopt and not shop for your fur baby.

Recently Dr. Seuss' book What Pet Should I Get was released and PETA was concerned about the potential wrong message it would give to its readers of adopting pets in a pet store.

When the book was originally written homeless pets were not as common, but today adoption is the only way to go.

Discover what Peta does to change this book for the better on page two. The results are touching and important too!
