What would you do if you knew that your funds could help save dogs that can help others? It's during times like these that make you think about where your money is being spent and how it can better assist organizations to train canines to help those in need.

The Problem
Every day, thousands of dogs are destroyed in overcrowded animal shelters, while police departments go without vital narcotics and explosives dogs needed to keep our schools, communities and families safe.

According to the ASPCA website 945,000 dogs are euthanized annually because they have no one to adopt them.

In communities and schools throughout the country, the risk of narcotics and explosives is on the rise.

Universal K9 and Help Dogs Help Us intend to change that – our From Street Dog to Police Dog campaign will help provide funding for police departments, implement volunteer K9 detection programs for our schools, and will save countless dogs from needless destruction.

The Solution
From Street Dog to Police Dog is our way of ensuring police departments, our schools, dogs in need are helped. Our campaign will support police departments, thousands of schools and rescued dogs by providing funding for a variety of equipment.

Who Is Universal K9?

Universal K9 is a Texas-based explosives, narcotics and search and rescue dog training provider.

Universal K9 believes in protecting our communities, schools and families, and we’re looking to take that even further with this joint venture with Help Dogs Help Us.
Our campaign will fund police departments, help implement volunteer K9 detection programs for thousands of schools nationwide, provide important equipment, fully trained police dogs and handler training.

The Details

This campaign will fund:
• Vehicle cages – $3,000 per cage
• Vehicle decals – $200 per vehicle
• K-9 Heat Alarm – $900 per system
• Heart worm prevention – $500 per year
• Training aids – $400
• Dog food – $200 per year
• Handler training course – $3,000 per handler

Help Dogs Help Us will be handling all of the donations and the campaign as a whole. Universal K9 will be providing all the training and sourcing of the dogs from our vast network of shelters.
