MWD, also known as Military Working Dogs, work side by side with our “boys in blue”, those in the armed forces. With their handlers, they walk into war zones overseas, patrolling and keeping their unit safe as sentries and rescuers.
They even go into danger zones, detecting explosives!
Like their humans, they deserve an occasional treat and a kind validation of care. Wouldn’t it be great to send these heroes a care package of their own?
Well, now you can and if you turn to page two we will show you several organizations that can help you get a package to an MWD. Not only will they give you tips on where and who to send through but they will also give you advice on what is best to pack.
Sending packages is the least we can do for these noble, working pooches who have saved more than a few lives!
