Separation anxiety in a dog is a very common disorder. It happens in the best of homes. Sometimes a pup just needs to “act out” and as much as an owner wants to punish their furry companion for damaging behavior that punishment is often handled very badly.

After all, while we see their conduct as destructive the only thing poor “Rover” knows is that his master and best friend is gone and might not ever come back! Then, when you do return your dog is thrilled, not realizing the negative impact of his acting out.
