Traveling with a dog can be a trial. Yes, we adore our big or little furry family members but there are times when we wish it were easier. For instance, most hotels have a strict NO PETS policy, doing research on approachable pet hotels a necessity. It’s either that or sleeping out in the car with Rover and no one desires for that to take place!

But, even if you find a hotel that accepts pets there are still restrictions. Most are great establishments but occasionally one or two of these hotels fail to live up to expectation. For instance, they may charge a pet fee or not offer grass landscaping, which may happen to be the only place where your doggy can go the bathroom.

As you plan your hotel stay with Fido, remember that sleeping arrangements are necessary! Making these arrangements are especially important if you are planning a long trip and you desire the comfort for you and Fido to be paramount!

Go on over to page two and check out a short list of things to look out for when considering taking your pup out on the road.

  1. With 3 fire trucks and 3 1/2 hours of fighting the fire with us sitting in the front yard; there was no Red Cross person with a blanket and a place to stay either!! I could breathe fire every time I see their commercial!! As much as my husband does for them there was no response when we needed it.
I will say, I have respect for every firefighter that came to our aid that night. They were diligent, kind, compassionate and respectful. They are the true heroes of the evening for saving my chihuahua that hid under the bed and I couldn’t reach her.
