
When you first think of a service dog, you may automatically think of seeing eye dogs. Whereas seeing eye dogs provide their owners with a wonderful service of helping them “see,” in addition there are many other service dogs.
Dogs help their owners with a variety of things such as getting them help during a seizure, alerting them of potential food allergies, and helping them with mental disorders like PTSD.
It's pretty amazing to think about just how much service dogs can provide for us. Service dogs are trained to help their handler in these situations and in the process provide much comfort as well.
