Who would have thought we could learn something from our pets? Of course, we aren’t talking about the finer aspects of a Shakespearian play or even Calculus. However, when it comes to the normal mental and emotional turmoil humans often dwell on – dogs seem to have it licked!
One might say a pooch has a lot less to worry about than we humans and, in a sense, you’re right. Still, a pup has his and her lists of concerns we may never truly appreciate.
I know when my pup can’t find his favorite toy he’s undoubtedly frazzled! You can see it all over his face and body. Yet the moment the toy is returned to him he’s as happy and calm as he was an hour before, with no lingering effects.
Human’s tend to give off stress signals long after what upsets us has been rectified.
