Many dogs are trained to do exceptional things. They'll get their owner's remote for them — okay maybe that's not so common — or they'll roll over on command (which is more common). And if a tasty treat is involved they'll sometimes show off and perform a trick that is all the more amazing!

Our pups are intelligent, wise animals. What they do and don't do will always surprise us, entertain us, and wow us.

We're always impressed when a dog is trained to do something unusual, or different. Sit, stay, come, heel – those are definite must-know training skills every dog should know. But there are several others outside the realm of “basic” that knock our socks off.

Case in point, today's doggy highlight: A German Shepherd who can change his facial expression on command.
