Lucy is a brave doggy to go through so much pain to give birth to her puppies, but how she treats them afterwards is beautiful. The puppies are hungry and want to eat, and Lucy not only allows them to eat, but it's clear she has a deep love for her new babies.
What comes next after you adopt a new puppy and bring her home to your family is beautiful too. Even though the pup has been raised and nurtured by her breeders and dog mom, you get to follow in her steps. Every day you feed your new doggy, take her on walks and give her lots of love and attention. Just because you didn't give birth to your doggy doesn't mean you can't provide her with unconditional love. Never forget that your doggy is now your family and a best friend too!

Kathie oh my we need to do something about this. I saw this guy out on the street spinning a sign for a puppy store . I went in and saw all these puppies with incredible price tags. I got right in the guys face asking him why he is supporting puppy mills and how was this business legally open. He claimed the pups ALL come from reputable breeders. I have pugs and I know a few things about the breed. First these puppies started at $1800.00 to over 3500.00. No one is going to pay that even with their fiance program, than what happens when they don’t sell. This is just so disturbing

Jeanne, I agree…disturbing and sad. No matter how reputable the breeder, the problem is that they are breeding pups and kittens when there are already thousands and thousands that need a home, without adding more to that number. The pound / shelter is the only place to shop!
