Every dog reacts differently when you wake them up. One pooch may respond by acting scared and frightened, whereas another may pull off a few yoga doggy stretches to try and wake up. If they're woken up suddenly sometimes it takes a while for a pooch to wake up — you know how you feel when you've suddenly been woken up from a deep sleep!
Who knows, your doggy may have been enjoying some good dreams of chasing a few doggy friends or snacking on a few bones.
Luckily you can still rouse your pooch without shouting at him. You should be able to wake him up sweetly, without causing him alarm.
Take this video for instance. This dog Mom has come up with quite an inventive way of waking up her pooch. Just wait until you hear the sounds this doggy makes when mom decides to wake him from his slumber. Things are not always what they seem, however.
