We would love to believe that our pets can eat everything we eat. It would make our lives, not to mention grocery shopping, so much easier. Sadly, they have different nutritional standards than ourselves and we must be very careful when feeding them snacks. In a perfect world, we would feed our doggies three square meals a day and that would do it.

Yet, when they look up at us with those sad eyes as we dig into our Porter house steak we can’t help slicing off a bit of fat and passing it to them under the table. Oh, and what about the few veggies on our plates that we have decided will go into the trash or better yet – Fido!

Hold your horses! Dogs simply cannot eat all fruits and vegetables. Some are okay but others are not just harmful but can make Fido very ill!
