There comes a time when we all must leave our doggies to their own devices. We have to go to work or school, or even out with friends for a night at the movies. Our pooches do not like it but we need to ask ourselves: “What is the alternative?” Do we stay at home with them for the rest of their lives?

While the dog would probably agree with that assessment we know better. They are an important part of our life but they are not our whole life!

Sadly, this may leave a dog lonely for a while. They can either deal with it and take a long nap or stomp around the house angry. Or, like the precious pug on the next page, they can become very vocal. The way he figures it Mom would not just pick up and leave. She must be in the house somewhere.

Listen, as he calls for her. What an odd sound!
