Sometimes it just takes the time to rescue and care for an animal to make a man or woman a hero! Without knowing it, animal rescuers make a positive impact in the world and we salute them. Watch a few at work here:

Perhaps dogs will never really understand that they are amazing companions and friends. But they do know what they love and they want to be cared for. This dog was treated in a bad way, obviously, and got lost. But now he is found again and will make a fine pet for some worthy family!

We pray he is treated well, loved as he should be, and we sincerely hope he stays away from the sewers for a while too! We are sure whoever adopts this dog will distract him from such an adventure by buying lots of dog toys and other treats. But just loving him should be enough!
