Basenjis are certainly beautiful dogs and very intelligent. Yet, as with any person or pet who might be introduced to something new, this doggie, in particular, seems to be having a difficult time evaluating a hard boiled egg!
“What exactly is that thing and what makes it rock back and forth and roll about the floor?” he seems to ask.
And in being so inquisitive, not so easily distracted, we have to give this handsome young dog credit too! He desperately wants to know what it is all about. He can’t seem to determine if the egg is a toy or something to eat – or maybe both!
Obviously, it annoys him, makes him distrustful but he can’t ignore it! Just what is a doggie to do?!
