Properly taking care of your Pug is a lot of responsibility, but he's well worth it! It's important to give him a bath every few weeks, make sure his eyes are clean, regularly brush his teeth, and also clean his ears. Which brings us to the daunting task — just how do you clean your Pug's ears?

We're not going to lie, this task is a bit more challenging than giving your Pug a bath and cleaning his eyes (unless he strongly dislikes the water).

You have to use a lot of patience and work with your pup. If he's having a hard time with you cleaning his ears may need to stop for a few minutes and then try again.

It's important that his ears get clean, as a bad ear wax build up can require a deep cleaning performed by a vet. And trust us from experience, they do not like this. So avoid it if you can.

    I use apple cider vinegar in my pugs ears , also if she shows any sign of ear itching I break up a inner health plus & put it into her meat . We steer clear of dog biscuits & tinned foods full of preservatives she has chicken. with veg & a bone to chew on. She is happy , robust & healthy
