Perhaps you are one of those pet parents that determinedly insists you will never put clothes or costumes on you dog; even though you have glanced at the pooch clothing isle in your local pet or convenience store. And yes, you probably can admit that you’ve even said “Aww!” over these clothes and why not? Some of these pieces of clothing are cuter than what we’ve found in the clothing aisle of our favorite dress shop!
The problem is, once you have determined to dress-up your pet there are a few things you should consider, such as making sure Rover is comfortable.
After all, how would you feel if someone demanded you wear a skirt that binds or is unnecessarily scratchy? No matter how clever or cute the outfit is, you certainly do not want the dog to wear a piece of doggy clothing that is rubbing off his fur!
To address a few questions you may have about putting clothes on your pooch, visit the next page. No doubt we love our dogs, and while we want to see them well-clothed we also do not want them tortured! LOL!

Just don’t do it. Simple. Dressing dogs is absurd, with some rare exceptions when a dog is living in a climate that is too harsh.

My pug, Starbuck, likes to wear her sweatshirt when its cold. She will come running when I get it out. My other pug Rylo absolutely hated his. He sat on the couch and wouldn’t budge until I took it off.
