There isn’t anything we wouldn’t do for our families. The spouse and kids are everything to us but, over the years, as the children grow and develop their own interests and the spouse becomes busy and distracted, someone or something takes precedence.
Without realizing it, the family dog has become the love of our life!
Is it because “Fido” is always happy and appreciative for all those little things we do for him? Or is it because while the family has become independent, able to go out and do things on their own, the dog – even as an adult – still seems to need our guidance, protection and love? In return, we over indulge our furry family member probably without realizing it!
