What the world needs now is more doggy film festivals! We want to see the glitter and glamour of a premier and – hey – how about a red carpet?
Leave it to Los Angeles, Hollywood specifically, to take the reins. It held its first Dog Film Festival around the beginning of June 2016 — to a resounding success! Granted, the first film festival of this type was in New York around 2014 but many agree Hollywood is the real place to be for a film premier!
Tracie Hotchner, from Vermont, is a pet wellness advocate and the figurehead behind the film festival. Her goal is to educate about pet adoption, wellness matters, and various aspects of pets in a human being’s life!
