When you have a doggy, dog toys are one of the first things you will buy. And even though it's fun to watch your pup chew away on his favorite toys, there are some safety tips you should keep in mind.
If you look at the packaging before you purchase a toy it will usually say the recommended dog age. This is especially the caseĀ if you have a puppy — it will say made for puppies or dogs 10lbs+, for example.
Besides just looking at that packaging recommendations, consult with other pet owners and your vet if you have questions or concerns.
Discover more tips to follow on the next page on whether your dog's toys are safe and how you can purchase safe toys going forward!
