Try this no hassle trick to give your pooch his pills! You'll be relieved!
To put it simply, the best way to give your dog a pill is any way that gets him or her to swallow it.
Some medications come in a flavored chewable tab or liquid, with such enticing flavors as beef or cheese.
People use all sorts of treats to get their pet to swallow a medication, from Cheez-Whiz to peanut butter to wrapped in baloney.
One of my favorite products is Pill Pockets, a small squishy envelope-shaped treat that allows you to slide a pill in, then squish it shut. Many animals take these easily and save you lots of time and wasted, drooly, melting medicine capsules. In response to the many pets with food sensitivities, they even come in hypoallergenic formulas.
With these tips and tricks, Fido will be taking his daily pills without hassle. Say goodbye to the medicine struggle. Your pooch will be feeling better in no time!

I always use 2% milk cheese. It’s soft enough to where it will stay pressed together to hide a pill inside.

Try some Pill Pockets made by the folks who make Greenies. About ten bucks and worth it.
