When we first heard of “pants for dogs” we grimaced and wondered what this odd trend is all about. We saw some pooches in photos wearing these pants and had a good laugh.

But then, thinking of our pup, we began to wonder if these pants weren't really a crazy idea after all.

My dog is a warm-weather dog, having grown up in Southern California. But we are in a valley and have snowy mountains surrounding us. How would he react if we took a drive up to the mountains, in the cold and snow, without protection? Would it be unkind of us to make him brave the elements without warm clothes of some kind?

These Muddy Mutt Dog Pants now seem like a rather smart idea! Just think, there are now pants for your pup that will keep him clean and warm!
