Someone once said that beauty is really only skin deep. It’s a nice sentiment but sometimes encouragement or reassurance is needed.
All you really need to do is go to a dog show and take a good look at the canines. Do you think that Shar Pei cares about her wrinkles or that Irish wolfhound is concerned that his hair is too long for his age? No way! They are as comfortable with their looks as a cat is concerned that they are hurting their owner’s feelings.
A good brushing, maybe some canine care products to give their coats that extra special shine, and these dogs are ready to show and strut their stuff with pride.
