
Even though the summer is a fun time for both you and your pet to have time together and go on adventures, remember to take care of your pooch and error on the side of cautious.
This means not letting your pup overheat, eat things at parties that he can't have, and knowing the warning signs of heat exhaustion.
With Pugs, you should be aware that they can have more trouble breathing in the heat because they have a short nose.Keep your Pug in the shade if you are at the pool or are going on a long walk, especially if it is warm outside.
If he shows signs of looking tired or is having trouble breathing take him to a cool place and if needed consult your vet.
