It's pretty adorable when our dogs are protective of us, isn't it? A pooch can automatically sense when danger is lurking and as a result, they'll do whatever necessary to keep their human out of harm's way.

Even when you feel you can't trust certain people in your life, no matter what, you can always trust your canine friend to have your back. They're loyal to the very end.

Dogs are protective when it counts. They've been known to scare away burglars, assert themselves when a threatening person approaches you, and a pooch may also bark aggressively at a larger dog that looks threatening to their human!

Even though it's nice to know your pup will protect you when it counts, there are times when you may feel they're being a tad too protective.

In fact, this pup is convinced his owner is taking his kayak into the depths of danger. And he has to protect his owner at ALL costs!
