We still recall the first time we saw Max at the shelter. We could not keep our eyes off of him. It wasn’t that he was overly handsome or that Max was really friendly. As a matter of fact, he was scared and a bit cowardly … but the connection was there whether he knew it or not.

We brought him home a few days later, after shots and neutering, and poor Max just did not know what to make of the situation.

However, with love and patience he found security and quickly came out of his shell! Max is the best dog ever!
