There are three mindsets when it comes to dog ownership: 1) I want a pure breed, 2) Mix-breeds are the best!, and 3) I don’t really care if it’s pure or mixed, as long as it’s healthy.

For many, the “look” of the dog matters too. While some say they are perfectly happy with their scrappy pooch, the one that looks like he’s been dragged through a back alley, many want a nicer looking dog. You know, the cute pooch that they can show off to “Ooo's” and “Aww's” and cuddled close.
