Wow, this little guy sure knows how to swim! Not only does he swim super fast, but he dives too! In fact, Ernie makes diving look SO easy. He didn't need any diving lessons at all! I wish I was as good at diving as he is!
Go Ernie go! If Ernie decided to enter into a Pug swimming competition I'm sure he would win because swimming is obviously one of his strengths. It's great that he loves the water so much and that his owners discovered that he has so much fun in the water! I'm sure instead of a snack this adorable Pug would rather go swimming…or maybe have both for being a good boy?!

Pugs are not very good swimmers. The short snout makes it harder to keep the nose above the water. The folds on their face need to be kept dry, also their ears, these sites are prone to infections. Pugs were bred to be lap dogs, but that leaves a few negative trade offs.

Our Bella loves water but only just walking deep. She donât want no deeper. So when we camp and out in water I keep life jacket on her just in case. Better safe than sorry.
