Some puppies just have a hard time realizing the world does not revolve around them. In a way, we cannot blame them. After all, we hold them, cuddle them, say sweet words to them all day. Then, at night, if they whine and cry, we go to them and give even more attention.

As far as a puppy is concerned what they say and what they want goes!

But then, eventually, we have to start disciplining our pooch and they are suddenly thrust into a world of confusion! “Wait a minute. What if I don't want to go potty outside? What if I want to chew that shoe? Hold me and do it NOW!”

French Bulldog puppies are not beyond these feelings of need and betrayal. And at least one, that is the pup on the next page, is determined to let his feelings be known when he is not allowed to roam around the backseat of his Mom's car. He's not alone, as you will see, but that makes no difference. He's the puppy!
