If you’ve ever tried something strange and new you have to sympathize with these adorable pups which are being forced to wear shoes or booties – for the first time!

They know they’re there but are not at all happy about it. Can you blame them? Those paws were made for walking, not being covered!

Still, as any pet parent can tell you, those little pads have to be protected from the blistering heat of a Summer sidewalk or the frosty chill of Winter ice! If you’ve ever seen the results of unprotected pup feet you know it’s heartbreaking.

So let’s applaud these pet parents for being so careful. And add another clap or two to the pooches that will have to adapt for their own good.
