You know how it feels to be guilty all too well. In fact, those cookies in the kitchen taunt you at night and sometimes you just have to sneak out of bed to get one. Admit it, you know they are tasty! The next day when your significant other asks you where the cookies magically disappeared to you answer: “I don't know. I think you ate more and just didn't know it.” LOL does this sound familiar to you? You probably get caught eventually, but it's fun trying to play off that you didn't do anything, right?

Similar to humans having guilt over being caught or eating something we shouldn't have, puppies go through the guilt phase as well. I'm sure you've experienced your pooch eating something he wasn't supposed to and then catching him later. Perhaps he snuck some chicken off the table or a few chips that were left somewhere where he could reach them?
