We often wonder what a pet sees in a mirror when they look into it. Do they see movement, another dog, or is it merely the shine that fascinates them? Why is it some dogs appear to see a reflection right away while others are not phased at all?

It is a bit of a mystery. Maybe not something we are meant to understand.

However, the little Pug puppy on page two seems to have no problem appreciating his reflection. As a matter of fact, it sincerely looks as if he feels he’s found a brother or playmate for life – and it’s comical!
