It’s happened to all of us. We are quiet, maybe sitting and reading a book, and we hear a mysterious sound.

Maybe it’s a baby cry where there is no baby or a sudden “crack” echoes around us that we are often told is “the settling of the house” It’s not just creepy but also puzzling.

Over on the next page, we have a little Pug named Ville, who is on a train and is also hearing something odd. He hears something very familiar, a dog bark, but there does not seem to be another dog around!

Who or what is making that sound?
