No matter what age a dog may be, as you raise him he may have a different reaction to certain things he encounters. Take a hat for example. To us, it's just a hat, but to our dog it may seem scary.
So when you take him for a walk he may start to bark hysterically when you pass someone wearing a hat. Trying to rationalize with your pooch by explaining the hat isn't gonna hurt him probably won't work either.
For other dogs, their trigger might be seeing their reflection in the mirror. Or in their eyes, viewing another dog (erm… themselves!) in a shop's reflective glass. Some dogs even get agitated by their own shadow!
Observing their reactions is humorous for us. But for our dog, the aforementioned things can seem very real and they experience a variety of emotions depending on the situation.
On page 2 we'll show you how one Dog Defends His Territory To A Shadow Puppet – He Thinks It's Real! His reaction? Priceless!
