Time out for a short reality check: You ever have that friend with a dog or cat who absolutely swears their pet not only understands every word they say, but swear their pet can talk to them, too?

We have a friend like this (who shall remain nameless) and we've spent countless amounts of time, sitting on her sofa, staring blankly as she, the pet parent, repeats a phrase over and over again, trying to get her cute little fur baby to echo it back to us.

Honestly, if her dog was able to speak to us, we'd be thrilled to her it! But more often than not, we have to suppress the urge to take said friend by the hand and deliver her to a state mental institution.

But instead, we just smile and nod.

But to our utter delight, we found some pets who, well… do talk.

Kinda.

And after listening to the smart and adorable pets on page two, we may need to reconsider our prior cynicism. Yes…. they are that good and oh so very funny!
