Pug-let, the all-pug remake of the Shakespeare classic, just barely met its $5,000 goal in its last day on Kickstarter. The creator told Mashable back when the project was in its infancy that his plan was to have pugs onstage moving around while actors (well-known ones like James Earl Jones, who is also a “pug lover”) read their parts offstage.

MAID (Make All Incredible Dishes) learns your tastes and habits to improve your kitchen, has access to an unlimited number of recipes and offers verbal instructions while you cook. The oven met its $50,000 goal in just five days and is currently sitting at the $125,000 benchmark.

A spice pen that lets you draw in your beverages
CinniBird, dubbed “the world’s first and only spice pen,” is a handheld kitchen gadget that lets you create drawings and messages in your food.The pen surpassed its modest $5,000 goal with more than $18,000 raised.

An umbrella that protects you from rain with just air
The Air Umbrella is a rod-shaped device that has a motor, rechargeable lithium battery and fan blade. The invisible umbrella has raised more than $100,000, meeting its goal 10 times over.

A cat exercise wheel
One Fast Cat is a stationary wheel that allows indoor cats to fulfill their natural desire to run and be active. The wheel only needed $10,000 to meet its goal, but has collected nearly $350,000 to date.

A magic phone stand that makes your phone look like it's floating in mid-air
The stand, which comes in black and white, gives off the illusion that the iPhone is floating in mid-air. It quickly reached its $8,000 goal and now has more than $37,000.

That magic phone should be fun to display while you're at a coffee shop. Want to bet that some people will think you're actually magic?!

And of course I'm looking forward to the Hamlet play starring Pugs. Anyone who is a Pug fan would be crazy not to watch this play. I hope they start “filming” it soon because it'll be a riot!
