Kindhearted Doorman Gives This Sick Boy A Sweet Puppy To Aid In His Recovery

Most of us, if we're lucky, are healthy. Maybe we've always been healthy. Or maybe we've overcome an illness. Either way, we know that it can be difficult for people to empathize with those who are seriously ill. It can be especially challenging when the sick individual is a boy who's been fighting mitochondrial disease for a good portion of his young life.

Brandon Leach’s illness prevents the body’s cells from working properly. During his treatment he was a guest at Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston Massachusetts.

Michael Eades is the doorman at the Fairmont Copley Plaza and during Brandon's stay there, took a liking to the boy. Michael has two wonderful black Labradors that Brandon grew very close. Michael observed the boys spirits improved whenever he was near the two dogs.

So, with the boys parent’s permission, Mr. Eades gave Brandon a wonderful gift to aid in his on-going health battle.

On page 2 you'll see a wonderful, heart-warming video of Brandon receiving his surprise present!
