Some dogs are afraid of the water. In fact, they won't go anywhere near it. Especially larger bodies of water, like the ocean.
But on the other end of the spectrum there are dogs who thrive in the water. They love playing near it, fetching their ball from the pool, gallivanting in the ocean, and hanging out by the lake.
These water loving dogs can spend all day at the beach, playing in and out of the water, having the time of their lives. And it feels so rewarding!
Some pups take their love for water a step farther and are trained to do incredible things in it.
It goes without saying that these dogs possess amazing skills and train-ability on dry lane, but the skills they demonstrate in water are hard to believe unless you see it for yourself.
