Our dogs do a lot during the day, and a big part of it is keeping our homes safe from predators and foes! We are talking about people like the mailman, girl scouts and that cat that is determined to do her business in our yard!
It is enough to drive a faithful pooch a little crazy, especially if we – their human family – does not seem to appreciate their efforts. So, if you ever notice your dog acting a bit strange or even out and out weird, have a little patience. Know it is just a dog being a dog!
Now, if you want a good example of this, go over to the next page and look at the handsome Pug moving through his day, happy but serious about the things he does. Yes, he does seem a little off kilter; some might even suggest he’s – uh – weird!

Our pugs have done every single one of these things!! Pugs are so, so awesome. Quirky, whimsical clown-dogs. As I was watching your pug snore, my pug came over and watched the computer screen. They’re kindred spirits. You have a beautiful pug there. Don’t you feel like telling pugs that chasing their little cinnamon bun tails is an exercise in futility? Something tells me that they’d do it anyway. 🙂

Does anyone else have a pug that notices immediately on TV when there’s another dog kitty or critter on? Ours does and he watches until the animal is gone.
