A dog can’t get away with such offenses for long!
Yes, while it’s true we are into the holidays and we need to be a bit more forgiving, sometimes we think our pups know they are hitting our human weak spot. They know we are trying to be cheerful and any little offense made by them will be forgiven — without a second thought.
However, that is not always true. There must be punishment! So shame them we must! But why do we get the funny feeling Spot or Max are not feeling quite as guilty as we think that should? Hmm.

We were just trying to see if our presents were under the tree. I had a Pekingese when I was growing up. He would unwrap the presents until he found his. We finally started putting his in a separate place. He always opened his gift all by himself. We have it on video.
