Unless your pup is free spirited and feels it can never do any wrong – or has never been told “no!” before – their reaction to being disciplined can vary from one extreme to another.

With some dogs, knowing they're “in the dog house”, there are a few common tell-tale moves. Sometimes they stand very still with their tail between legs. Other times they just stare up at you with the ever so popular “innocent eyes” routine.

But lately we've noticed dogs becoming more and more inventive with their reactions, like in this video on the next page. Moxy's thought process takes in all of the above but also has the inventive twist of “if I’m not here I’m really not in trouble”.

It’s a tricky and clever maneuver that most pups will fail at if attempting to replicate it – but this dog’s innocent expression during a disappearing act is so funny you can only laugh while watching!
