What is it that makes a doggie throw himself on his back, awaiting that tummy rub or tickle? Is it inbred, knowing that sensation of comfort and affection? Or is there more? After all, a human family can just as easily give him a pat on the head or rub his sturdy back to show their love.

There must be something very sensitive about the belly, perhaps a feeling of closeness and warmth when a doggie’s underside is exposed, ready to be scratched!

Then we know what happens when we hit that special responsive spot, how one or two of the legs start to vibrate, shake then out and out kick at the air!
