No one wants to be reminded that they have gained a little weight over the years. It is a personal thing, you know? Yet, often we need that little wake-up call just to get us jump started into a vigorous exercise and food control program.
Still, if you are happy with your own body image why is there always some clown around always making us weigh ourselves; causing us to feel like there is something wrong with a little extra fluff? Who needs that type of weight shaming?
“Yes, there is that annoying “health” thing that often rears its head but do you have to bring out the scale?”
This seems to be the attitude of a rather vocal pug on the next page. His Dad thinks it is time for them to stand on a scale and take a note of just how much weight they have put on over the months and – well – his puggy friend take exception to that suggestion.
As a matter of fact, Puggy seems darn right angry about it! Go on over to the next page and look at a plump pug who does not want to be shamed by any kind of weight display!

That’s the same argument I have with my scale, except for the carrying it in my mouth.
